Timeline: A 2026 Link Click fan calendar is an unofficial fan project to create a calendar for the year 2026. Every month will feature a different artist who will be creating an illustration inspired by the holidays and/or seasons of that month.

Q: How do I apply?

We estimate there will be space for 9-12 artists depending on the amount of applications we receive.Q: Will there be invited artists?
Yes, there will be 3 invited artists. They have already been chosen and are not included in the number of artist spots listed in the above question.Q: Why aren't there more artist spots? Can't you make more spots by having more merch?
We want this to be a small, simple project. The purpose is to make a calendar, and any merch will be small supporting items. Projects with lots of merch and high numbers of artists require longer productions times, cost more to ship, and are more likely to have delays.Q: What are you looking for in an artist?
We are looking for artists with a strong sense of anatomy, lighting and composition, as well as an ability to render a piece to completion. An ability to draw backgrounds is also required - though they do not need to be complex.Q: Do I need Link Click fanart in my portfolio?
It is not required, however, artists who do have examples of Link Click art will have an advantage over artists who don't.Q: Can traditional artists apply?
Yes, so long as you are able to provide high quality scans of your work. We invite artists of all mediums to apply.
Please note, however, that this project does not accept AI art, and any applicants who use AI will not be accepted.Q: Can I apply even if I have never been part of a zine or fandom project before?
Yes! Artist applications will be chosen based on artistic ability. You do not need to have participated in a fandom project before.Q: Can I participate as an artist if I am a minor?
Yes, this is a Gen rated project so anyone can participate. The only thing that you need is a PayPal account so that we can pay you.Have more questions? Q: Is this for profit or for charity?
This is a for profit project. It is a trying time for artists with the rise of AI, so, we think it is important to pay our artists for their work. Profits will be divided equally among the mods and artists.Q: Will this calendar be distributed digitally or physically?
This will be distributed physically. There will not be any digital options for this project.Q: How will artists be chosen?
3 artists will be invited by the mods as Featured Artists. The remaining artists spots will be decided via applications.Q: Will there be merch?
This depends on the interest check, but we are open to creating simple merch such as postcard prints, stickers, and imitation polaroids.Q: How will contributors be contacted?
Contributors who are accepted to be a part of the calendar will be contacted primarily through a Discord server set up specifically for this project.Q: Where is this calendar shipping from?
From within the USA.Q: Will there be a leftover store?
